How do I create an event?
Open the PickUp app, tap the "Create Event" button, fill in the event details including location, time, sport, and any payment requirements. You can make your event public or invite-only.
How do payments work for paid events?
When joining a paid event, payment is securely processed through Stripe. Funds are held until the event is completed. If you leave the event before it starts, you'll receive a refund minus the platform fee (5%).
Can I cancel or leave an event?
Yes! You can leave an event at any time before it starts. For paid events, refunds are automatically processed. Event organizers will be notified when someone leaves their event.
How do I join a club?
Browse clubs in the app and tap "Join" on any club you're interested in. Some clubs may be invite-only and require approval from the club admin.
What if I don't have the app installed?
You can download PickUp from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Some features like event details and payment processing require the mobile app.
How do I report a problem or inappropriate content?
You can report issues directly in the app using the report feature on any event, post, or profile. For urgent matters, contact us at support@pickupplay.io.
